A Multi-Hundred-Billion Dollar Addressable Market

$900B+

Global Aviation Revenue (Annual)

Projected Passengers by 2040 (IATA)

$30–40B

UAM Market by 2035

24–40hrs

Current ISR Endurance (to be disrupted)

Four Target Markets

1.  Commercial Aviation Decarbonisation

The global aviation industry is under enormous regulatory and public pressure to decarbonise. The EU Emissions Trading System (EU ETS) now includes aviation. CORSIA imposes escalating obligations on airlines from 2027. Airlines face rising carbon costs, regulatory exclusion, and reputational damage if they cannot demonstrate credible decarbonisation. AEPEP offers zero-emission propulsion with no range penalties and no new ground infrastructure required.

2.  Defence & Persistent ISR

Military forces worldwide require aircraft with dramatically extended endurance for intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) missions. Current long-endurance platforms (MQ-9 Reaper, RQ-4 Global Hawk) are limited to 24–40 hours. An AEPEP-powered platform could remain airborne indefinitely.

Relevant procurement programmes:

  • UK Ministry of Defence DASA innovation programme

  • DARPA and US Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL)

  • NATO collaborative development initiatives

  • Allied nation procurement programmes

3.  Urban Air Mobility & Drones

The UAM market is projected to reach $30–40 billion by 2035. AEPEP-powered eVTOL and drone platforms would have a decisive competitive advantage: unlimited range and endurance, removing the need for dense charging networks. For logistics drones, AEPEP enables hub-to-hub delivery without range planning.

4.  Adjacent Markets (Upside)

The same thermodynamic cycle applies beyond aviation:

  • Marine propulsion- unlimited-range, zero-emission shipping

  • Remote power generation- atmospheric thermal power stations requiring no fuel supply

  • Ground vehicle range extension

These adjacent markets represent additional revenue streams and licensing opportunities.
